The Rogue Appellation Garagiste Society (RAGS) was conceived and organized by a group of southern Oregon small production vintners in late 2005. Like the French Garagistes we are limited production viticulturist and vintners. RAGS members are committed to perfection and detail, in our wines and vineyards, for the best expression of variety, site, and vine management. We expect high quality and share a responsibility to our region and state for accepting only the best.
RAGS organizes and presents events that share this philosophy with small groups of wine enthusiast. This intimate approach allows for the interaction of wine maker and guests. Our events pair wines produced by RAGS members with Oregon foods that are often grown and harvested from farms focused on sustainability and quality. Each event is given careful planning to insure the best pairing of wine and food, interaction of vintner and guests, and an unusual and entertaining experience.
